As Vice President of International Business Development, Jan’s focus is twofold: supporting the global network of Pivot Point distributors and lead the direct distribution businesses in a growing number of countries. Jan is a fifth-generation hair designer whose roots are in the Netherlands. After attending a Pivot Point school in 1980, Jan became a freelance trainer for Pivot Point in 1986. In 1988 he left his native country and in the next 5 years he travelled the world for Pivot Point, teaching, training trainers, and performing in shows in 50+ countries. In 1996, he became the Director of the International Division at Pivot Point Chicago. From 2000 – 2005 Jan was CEO for Pivot Point International Inc in the USA. In 2005 Jan returned to Europe, before taking on his current role in 2008. Starting in 2012, the direct distribution business has evolved and now covers the UK & Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Portugal.



Education Ambassador for Pivot Point, Janet leads training and development in the Pivot Point Online Platform LAB, both in the UK & Ireland, as well as in India, South Africa, India, Pakistan and Australia. Janet is experienced in curriculum development, teaching and learning, assessment, internal and external quality assurance. Janet works with colleges, training providersas well as salons, with the critical objective of improvingthe training standards within the hairdressing and beauty industry.

With Pivot Point LAB, Janet is able to guide colleges and training providers on the path towards effectively delivering digital education in the classroom, as well as through distance education.



Finance and Administration Associate, Paula has been with Pivot Point since 2013 and is responsible for Logistics, Customer Service and Administration. Paula has a broad knowledge of Pivot Point’s products and will be able to answer most of your queries regarding the unique features and benefits of Pivot Point mannequins and tools.
